Alleyway Art
One reason we love Asheville is because art permeates into every corner. It isn't confined to specific spaces...it winds around the city, down the alleyways and up the buildings. It brings the city to life. We love discovering it, street by street.
"To accept whatever comes, regardless of the consequences, is to be unafraid."
Some alleyways are art all by themselves, like this one.
Stickers bring an ordinary rain gutter vibrancy.
This is my favorite Asheville alleyway so far. There's a story painted along with the art. It is commemorating the old chicken business of someone's grandfather, which used to be located across from this mural. I love the attention to history and the tying together of past and present.
These two are Dave's favorites so far.
