Tybee Island
Yesterday, after exploring Savannah, we went to nearby Tybee Island. It was really cold and windy, but the beach was beautiful. We loved all the pieces of driftwood washed up on the shore.
Especially with the overcast sky, everything looked surreal.
Today, we were planning on heading to Stone Mountain, GA, but it's currently 43 degrees outside and REALLY windy. Not ideal weather for hiking around. We drove pretty far off course to head towards Stone Mountain, but this is part of our adventure...very often, things are not going to go as planned. It's important to make the best of things and just enjoy ourselves, no matter what the circumstances. I'm definitely still working on this, but what a great lesson it is to learn!
